Bridget Translations Privacy Policy

Bridget Translations (hereinafter referred to as “BT”) is fully aware that maintaining the privacy of customer information is extremely important, and therefore shall ensure compliancy with all applicable laws in regards to personal information and will make every effort to protect that information.


BT shall only use any personal information received for the purposes designated by our customers. Further, BT shall not, without the prior written consent from the customer or without justifiable cause, disclose or cause to be disclosed to any third party any personal information provided by a customer.


In the case that a customer is to provide BT with personal information, the purposes for which that information is to be used shall be designated in advance and BT shall not use that information for any other purpose.


In the case that BT deems it is necessary to use a customer's personal information for a purpose other than that designated at the time the personal information was initially provided, BT shall, prior to any such use, notify the customer of the desired purpose of use.


Personal information provided by a customer shall, as a general rule, not be disclosed or provided to a third party, with the exception of the following circumstances:


  • Where there is prior consent from the customer.
  • Where it is necessary for the protection of the life or property of an individual, and in which it is difficult to obtain the prior consent of the customer.
  • Where information is disclosed to financial institutions to the extent necessary to allow credit card processing for the payment of services.
  • Where disclosure of personal information is legally required by a judicial order or application of the law, regulations or ordinances.

BT shall appropriately handle all personal information and take precautionary and corrective measures to keep such information from loss, destruction, alternation and leakage.


BT shall respond in a sincere manner when asked by our customers to correct, add or delete, or to discontinue the utilization of a customer’s personal information.
